Nanny  Job Duties: A nanny's primary responsibility is to tend to the social, intellectual, and physical needs of the children in their care while ensuring that they are in a loving and safe environment. The nanny transports children to activities and appointments, bathes the children and runs errands that are child related. In addition, nannies do housework related to the children. This includes cleaning up after children in the home, laundering children‘s clothes, and making meals for the children. Nannies may live in or out of the house, and may be full (40-50 hrs/week) or part-time(20-30hrs/week.) On-call and temporary placement is also available for planned short term or unplanned last minute childcare needs.

Share Care Nanny  A share care situation is when two or more families make an arrangement to employ the same nanny This is a great way to get a professional nanny while sharing the costs. The nanny will provide care to all of the families' children at one of the family's homes. Share Care works best when all families have similar hours, days, and times of needed care and the same duration of employment. It helps when all of the children are familiar with each other, the home that the nanny is going to provide care in, and all parents have good communication with each other. All meals, bedtime routines, TV time, activities, rules, and discipline should be similar. A contract between the families is the best way to ensure a successful share care experience.

Family Assistant  Job Duties: A family assistant is a nanny that either works with a parent in the home or coordinates efforts with parents to complete an array of household duties in addition to the primary responsibilities of a nanny. These additional duties can include scheduling and running household errands, grocery shopping, preparing meals for the entire family, laundering for the family, light housekeeping, pet care, household organization and schedule management.

Non-Medical Companion  Job Duties: A non-medical companion works to enhance the quality of life of an elderly, disabled, sick, or recovering person by assisting with daily tasks. These tasks may vary but typically include preparing and serving meals according to the dietary needs of the client, assisting with grooming and dressing , grocery shopping and running errands, picking up medication, transporting to doctor’s appointments, cleaning laundry and changing bed linens, light housekeeping, giving medication reminders, and providing companionship and social interaction.

Personal Assistant  Job Duties: A personal assistant assists in managing a household and/or business. They typically help to maintain a schedule, organize household and/or office spaces, and schedule appointments for family and business. They may also organize and plan parties, events, and vacations. In addition a personal assistant can assist at the home or office with bookkeeping, budgets, filing, vendors and  bills.

House Sitter  Job Duties: The house sitter is responsible for the safety, security and general maintenance of the home while a client is away. A house sitter collects mail, newspapers, and packages, waters plants, does light housework to maintain the property, and may care for pets in the home. For longer periods of house sitting free accommodation may be a form of compensation.

Event/Party Assistant  Job Duties: An event/party assistant can help with the planning and organizing for an event or party. The assistant may help with pre-party set-up, serve food and beverages during the party, replenish food and beverages as needed, attend to clearing trash and/or recycling during the affair, assist with post-party clean up, and help facilitate the event with the host or hostess.

Pet Care  Job Duties: The pet care professional is charged with caring for the physical and mental well-being of the pet(s.) Pet care professionals play with and exercise the pet(s) in their care. They may transport animals to grooming and veterinary appointments or attend dog training classes. Pet Sitters feed and water pets and ensure their health, comfort, safety, and happiness in the absence of the owner.

Handyman  Job Duties: A handyman completes general repairs or projects in the home. A handyman may be responsible for hanging pictures, shelving, or Christmas lights, moving furniture, cleaning out the garage, product assembly, replacing household fixtures, or painting. Experienced carpenters can perform finish work, do remodels, install doors or windows, build fences, decks, additions, and newconstruction.

Tutor  JobDuties: A tutor is integral in helping a student succeed academically by assisting with homework, reviewing material and preparing for tests and exams. A tutor can help to improve a child’s study skills and give one-on-one attention that can be beneficial to a struggling student. Time spent with a tutor may also be a means to enrich a child’s education.
